Additionally, there is a general test drive. --- For sale is a four-wheel-drive 5 Series BMW (E61) with a 3-liter diesel engine, automatic transmission, and station wagon body, produced after the latest model update. Mechanically operational with a valid inspection until 03.2026. The car has presumably received proper maintenance throughout. Currently, the main issues are a jerking transfer case when making very tight turns (a used spare transfer case is available), a leaking steering shaft (a used spare steering shaft is available), and a torn protective boot on the front left drive shaft (a used spare drive shaft is available). From a functionality standpoint, it should be mentioned that the left headlight currently does not work on either high or low beam (and moisture is getting inside). The plan is to first investigate the possibility of restoring the headlight’s functionality. Cosmetically, the exterior shows wear consistent with the car’s age, with noticeable damage on the right side of the rear bumper (see overview video). The interior also shows wear consistent with the car’s age but, in my subjective opinion, is rather in "good" condition. The car is equipped with 2524 production date studless tires, which have approximately 6-7 mm tread depth in the deepest grooves (more likely 7+ mm). I am happy to answer reasonable questions.
