Kita informacija

  • For sale: a tiny "rally car" that has seen some time. The car was acquired around 2023. It drives powerfully, and since it’s light, it accelerates quickly. The turbo whistles a bit, but it has turned the heads of quite a few BMW drivers. On the highway, it can reach 120 km/h, but it’s not recommended for the faint-hearted. Very comfortable and fun for city driving. You can park it anywhere—even in a parallel parking spot turned sideways, it fits nicely. When reversing, the distance is exactly about the length of an outstretched arm. At the same time, there is space inside the car; the owner is a man nearly 2 meters tall and fits comfortably. The panoramic roof gives a very pleasant, spacious feeling. The body has many plastic parts, but it doesn’t make noise like moped cars, which it is often mistaken for. It has an automatic transmission, but you can also manually shift gears up and down, making it technically semi-automatic. The car warns you when it’s time to shift up or down. Added for fun: a small spoiler and a fake tow hook. The car is fitted with studded tires that came with the previous purchase. Requires a full B-category driving license, it is not a moped car! Everything inside the car comes with it. However, if the new owner dislikes anything, it can be removed. Various repairs and upgrades done with the current owner: 1. All brakes replaced, still work well. 2. Front shock absorbers. 3. Exhaust (not original). 4. Washer pump, front hose, and nozzle. 5. Passenger door with window regulator and plastic cover. 6. Body sanded, rust converter applied, puttied, painted, and lacquered. 7. Side mirror replaced (was broken). 8. Filters and oil changed (probably will need changing again soon) and other fluids. 9. Added a foam plastic base under the passenger’s feet on top of the battery. 10. New battery. 11. Door hinge with cable replaced. The car passed its first inspection well with the current owner, although the rust on the sills was noted, which has since become the main concern. The second inspection was not passed, and unfortunately, the owner no longer has welding equipment or time to deal with it. Issues noted that need attention: 1. Sills – quite rusted (photos available). 2. No cold air conditioning – there is a place for it, but the previous owner removed it. It blows warm air. 3. Rear bumper rusted but still holds its structure (photos available). 4. Oil leak in the engine – repair shop recommended disassembling and reassembling once; apparently a common fault on these. Cannot estimate the cost. 5. Bushings need replacement. 6. Brake lines need replacement – rust present on the old ones. 7. Rust on the body (mostly around the windows). 8. Front-left tire occasionally loses air. Although it was patched and there were no issues in summer, it had been slowly deflating before and recently again. 9. RPM sensor does not return to zero, but the car can still shift gears automatically and manual shifting is easily done by ear. Additionally, the car warns when to shift up or down. 10. Trunk lock sometimes sticks; the previous owner tried drilling it. The current owner removed a couple of teeth, then it worked. The car may have other faults due to age and previous owner’s care. The current owner has been fixing issues as they arise but may not know all of them. Spare parts have been obtained from a Smart car mechanic in Saue who also services these cars in Tallinn. If needed, the new owner can be referred to him.
