- For sale: a short and tall Transit, originally bought for a specific purpose which is no longer needed. No point in making silly price offers; I can take it to the scrap yard myself. On the positive side, it is technically in quite good condition, drives well, does not smoke or emit soot. Recently had new brakes, clutch, full engine service, gearbox repaired, etc. Starts from cold at -5 degrees after sitting for 1.5 months at half a turn. The vehicle has 220V block heating (tested and works), diesel Webasto heater (not tested but seems to start). ABS, traction control, airbags, and other features all work. The cargo box is solid and covered with waterproof plywood, doors open smoothly, lock with central locking (the remote battery is dead from lying around outside, but it still works with the key). On the downside, the generator bearings are worn out and charging is low (still drove 120 km in this condition). The body is typical for an older Transit in this price range; the right outer panel needs replacement. Inside, there is a small spot with holes (replacement part costs 20 euros at Milbaum), the right front wing has through rust (replacement wing costs 34 euros at Milbaum). There are other spots showing age, but on the positive side, the load-bearing parts are still in good shape. There is enough body left to repair it. In short, with little effort, the vehicle could pass inspection; it has technical potential. NB! Comes with summer tires (very good Bridgestone C tires, but still summer tires). On site, can be transferred or sold online (then no registration fee is required), registration fee unpaid and will be the new owner's responsibility. Offers for trade are welcome for anything, tractor, lawn tractor, ATV, etc., with the possibility of additional payment.
