- For sale: FL 2009 E61 525xDrive 142 kW Brought from Finland on 2024/06/12 Good ✅ • Drives and runs fine • Air suspension has been replaced with standard suspension to reduce headaches • Dashboard with cup holders recently replaced (old picture) (only the cup holders are broken) • New timing pulley €245 • Electric tow bar / Works nicely with a button • New Bosch air filter • Both new cabin air filters • Summer tires on rims and also winter tires • New cable in the trunk (at BMW service center) invoice available! Defects: • Some rust beginnings on the rear wing and hatch • Antenna amplifier sometimes finds channels, sometimes not • A significant crack in the windshield (can negotiate the price a bit because of this, at least it’s not a “Head-Up Display” windshield, which would be much more expensive) • Engine idles roughly for 2-4 seconds when cold, computer shows ignition coils for cylinders 5 and 6 need replacement, but after that it runs fine until it sits for 10-12 hours; no problem in summer • Needs wheel alignment and steering angle sensor calibration! Sometimes traction control activates, steering wheel is crooked when driving straight! • Winter tires on rims (will last through this winter) Otherwise, the car is in good shape, not many extras but in my opinion no point in fussing over that, it’s a driving car!
