Other information

  • For sale is my favorite — a 2003 Lexus GS300 with the naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE engine. Yes, the very one that’s indestructible. No turbo, but it drives confidently and purrs like a cat after lunch. The engine, automatic transmission, and all electronics are in excellent condition. Starts instantly, drives smoothly, and the gearbox shifts without jerks. It has a good sound amplifier, and the music plays just right — clear, loud, without crackles or pops. You can throw a mini disco. The steering wheel was recently updated — feels nice to hold and looks fresh. The interior is generally decent — there are signs of use on the driver’s seat and armrest, but nothing catastrophic. New headlights with LED rings and trendy optics are installed — forget about dull stock lights. Complete maintenance history is available — from the time I bought it and partially from the previous owner. A lot of effort and nerves have been invested in the car — but it still needs someone with skills (and time). Summer tires come with studded winter tires as well — so it’s ready for any season right away. Perfect as a project, a car with soul for everyday use, or as a parts donor. Now about the issues (can’t avoid them): Rust — and quite a lot. It won’t pass technical inspection in this condition, I’m telling you upfront. The front right ABS sensor is not working — needs replacement. The power steering cooling line requires replacement — it’s tactically missing. Re-registration cost: about €470 Annual tax: €50 No technical inspection and won’t pass without welding.
